Yes, but it wasn't kinetic energy...it was an additional burst of fuel which
you were carrying anyway. They said it gives an additional 85 h.p. I'm curious
if it's occasional use is worth the additional weight and complexity.With less
down-force it may be limited to short bursts down straights.

With the outcry after last years season ending decisions F1 is going to have
some really interesting rule changes. They even attempt to go green. How
many
teams will remain running at the end of the season? Will this make everyone
drive like a drivers ed course? Perhaps we should make them run on DOT rated
tires?
