I have rear springs with the 0.62 diameter wire and four active coils at the
rear of my TR-6 auto-X car. According to a spring calculator they could be as
stiff as 970 lbs per inch if the torsional modulus = 10E6 pounds/sq inch.
The rear syaybar is solid 11/16" diameter 4130 with 9.5" lever arms. The
front springs are a bit softer, but not much. My TR-6 makes a cement mixer
feel like a soft cushy ride, so driving to events on the street can be a
jarring experience if the pavement is rough.
Someday I gotta stop racing my car every month so that I will have enough time
to pull the springs and have them accurately measured.

Wow-
Those aren't springs...they're solid blocks!
Seriously, I've wanted to run stiffer springs myself and just haven't
gotten to it yet...where did I put that list?
I have spring that are 600 in the front and 500 in the rear,? I run those
with
a 7/8" front sway bar with about a 5" lever arm and a 9/16" rear
with about a 10" lever arm.? The car is neutral just about anywhere and
everywhere, except hard trail braking...it tends to get just a tad tail
happy.?
The car could be stiffer as it does take moment too long to settle in a
corner.?
Now I have an end point for further mods...800 & 1000 jeez...
Spring is, just around the corner...
