When i began racing..in the late 1960s...we operated on an honor
system.....Our pit crews took our lap times with stop watches..and turned
those times into the SCCA people...That made up the grid...If a guy
lied...It all came out in the wash...It did not matter what the fastest lap
time was in the race...It was..Who won the race......I would like this
stuff to be TOTALLY PERIOD CORRECT...We don't need any Electronic
stuff......In CSRG we have lots of racers who race without
transponders....Let's Just Race!
