The early "small crank" 1300's are best from a durability standpoint.
The 1500 should never have been built.

Subject: [Fot] 1300/1500
Guys,
I am preparing to move up in class by replacing my 1147 with either a 1300
or
1500. In your opinion, which is more suited for competition. I've heard
conflicting opinions about which is better.
Also, any recommendations about enhancements to make the engine stronger
and
more competitive? I already have the Weber.
Many Thanks,
Dan O.
