Funny, in 1971 I used to help him (Tony) get belted into Oscar's =

I had a few opportunities to talk with Hardy and I was quite =
impressed with the man. Hardy had a great smile on his face that I =
describe as the one he must have earned with that SCCA Championship. I'm =
sure some of the other "legends" whether young or older spent time in =
other areas of the paddock but Ed Diehl should get some kind of award. =
He jumped in and helped a couple of us with our "issues". It just proves =
that Triumph guys, Then, now and probably forever have a special bond. =
Only we know how much we need and appreciate each other.

Two of our favorite Triumph folks graced us with their presence at =
the Glen.=20
Hardy Prentice and Jack Wheeler. =20
Both SCCA Champions in Triumphs, TR3 and TR4A, respectively.=20
No formal introductions were arranged and I didnt get out Name Tags =
as I planned, but I think they managed to get out and about on their own =
pretty well.=20
They came on their own dime and were there because they truly wanted =
to be. It's part of the magic of The Glen, but I am sure they wanted to =
be with us, too.=20
They might have been part of The Legends Speak, but were perhaps too =
young to be Legends yet.=20
