That's correct Mark
The odd fire engines are those 90 degree V6 engines modified from V8's
with crankpins at 90 degrees.
Some of the early GM V6's even used V8 distributor caps with two towers
removed from the cap.
Later odd fire engines offset the crankpins slightly but they never
achieved a 120 degree offset.
