Report:
The trip up was uneventful (good!).
Test and TUne was uneventful - and DRY.
Day one was WET -> drying. At the end of the day, I was third in my class
because my last run was dirty. Otherwise I would have had a 1.8 second
lead.
Day two was dry but cool. I left the soft setup (no rear bar) and the car
wouldn't rotate at all. I wound up more than 2 seconds in the lead with
_all dirty runs_.
For the weekend, 8 timed runs, 1 re-run for timing errors and 1 re-run for
a red flag on course and _SEVEN_ dirty timed runs!
But between the lobster bake, the HUGE surface (the courses were over 90
seconds in the dry), the BBQ and the laid-back atmosphere (first car off
was "11-ish") it was a great event.
I def. plan to go to this event in the future.
