Interesting point of information.

How about a short "Mike Cook" article for VTR magazine on the TR-4 Hardtop 
or Surrey Top with a couple of pictures to show as an example of the 
"proper" identification of each.

Also, I seem to recall the Hardtop/Surrey Top being listed in the TR-250 
Parts Manual.  Was it ever actually offered as a 250 option here in the 
states?
