Tom:
I believe the sound limit is 103db but they have also had a sub-100db
restriction in the past. It depends on the event as Monterey County allows
the track five, no sound limit days per year which includes the Moto GP,
Champ Cars, Monterey Historics, Grand Am and one other. I use a "cherry
bomb" muffler on my TR4 and have not had a problem when I raced the SCCA
vintage event there earlier this year. The first event next year is an HMSA
(www.hmsausa.com) race in March, followed by the SCCA vintage
(www.sfrscca.org) in April.

Subject: Re: [Fot] Laguna Seca
Does anyone know what, if any, noise restrictions
there are at Laguna Seca? Requirements for mufflers,
etc. Also, I have heard that there is a vintage event there
in Mid-March, 2008. But when I look at the Laguna Seca
website there is no information on it. Does anyone know
which club's event that will be? And club contact info, if possible.
Thanks, Tom
