There was a discussion on that very thing on another forum recently.  The 
general consensus was that it reallty does not change what is wrong with the 
Spitfire rear suspension.  It remains a swing axle suspension and therefore 
still has the issues with the camber varying as the suspension goes through its 
normal travel.  I think that if you really want to make improvements, the best 
thing to do (if it is allowed by your sanctioning body) is to go with a true 
independent setup with both upper and lower control arms and a variable length 
drive axle.
