[Fot] Competition brake pads for spitfire

Ok you spitfire guru's out there. what do you folks recommend for pad and shoe
compounds for a mid pack level prepared Spitfire road race car?  I like the
Hawk HP+ for autoxing my TR6 but don't know if they would be the best choice
for a Spitfire road racer.
