I've always used 85W90 synthetic blend.? 145 may be too thick, but I have no
direct experience with the heaver grade.

Subject: [Fot] Differential oil
I am changing parts in the differential of my '74 TR6. I don't know what
oil is in it now but I have some Valvoline 85 w - 145 w. I'm autocrossing
or tracking (no street driving) mostly in hot weather. Is the 85w - 145w
suitable or is it possibly too heavy for good performance?
