<< my question is "how early is early? >>
I'm not certain of it, but it may be for the Mk I head (pre-TR250, I
believe) - the one with the exposed pushrod tubes. The stud-holes at
the outer ends of the header (fore and aft) are at 3 o'clock and 9
o'clock, rather than being diagonally oriented across those ports. I
checked it against one of my later GT6 heads. That later head had the
stud-hole at 1 o'clock in the case of the port for #1 cylinder's exhaust
valve.

Scott, guess my question is "how early is early? Sort of unlikely anyone
would want a Mk1 head. Especially for racing purposes? <grin>
During the winter Joe, there was talk of a few of us having a couple
made. Nothing in stone but will keep ya posted. kevin

And it turns out that I may have a header for an early GT6 head,
if
anyone's interested.
