Hi Bill
Some time ago I asked Mr. Hylton, he is with SCCA, to see if
he could get me a list of all triumphs that won the runoffs.
I think you will find this listing interesting. It is 1:45 AM. I am
getting ready to record the E prod race for you.
Yours in Triumph

Sorry Dan. I answered you first message before I read your second message.
This list is very interesting. I will have to preserve it. I thought that
Hardy Prentice won the Runoff's before Jack Wheeler did. Hardy was the last EP
Triumph winner.
<<1991 Fletcher Williams TR6>>
When Fletcher Williams won in 1991, Jack Wheeler bought two six cylinder TR-6
engines from the Roadster Factory, to build for the 1992 season. Then SCCA
added a bunch of handicap weight to the TR-6s, and Jack told me that he decided
to remain with the four cylinder engine.
<<1965 Brian Fuerstenau TR3>>
I have an old picture of the grid positions prior to the beginning of a
national race. Lined up were Brian in first position in his TR-3, and Bob
Stanford
beside him in his Morgan, along with Bruce Jennings in his Porch. I believe
that this is the year when Bob went to the ARRC in California. Donna Mae Mims
had it printed on the front page of the pamphlet she sent out about her
Spring Fling Party.
<<1969 Lee Mueller Spitfire>>
I use to gets some parts from "Mother" Mueller back in the early 70s. He
died recently from some rotten disease he got while eating raw fish (Sushi?).
Keep me posted, Dan. Bill
