Thanksgiving is intended to remind us to give thanks to a higher
power for the blessings that we enjoy. And I do that, with great sincerity.
It occurs to me that all of us on this list has more than we "need",
like more cars in the garage than people in our house, and even more
rooms in our house than we have people in our house. The vast
majority of folks around the world cannot say that.
But I am thankful for some unconventional things too, like having so
many friends and being able to talk with all of you all the time. I
can't imagine how boring a life in retirement must have been without
this. Thanks, everybody, and thank you, Mark, for making it possible.
