Moss has them under 212-155, it's a really cool book, but I've
discontinued them for lack of sales.
Only 3 left.
If anyone wants one, let me know and I'll mark the price down.
Kelvin.

It's the "Automotive Handbook (3rd Ed.) by Bosch. It's available from
Society
of Automotive Engineers (ISBN 1-56091-372X) and also Robert Bentley,
Publishers (ISBN 0-8376-0330-7) as well as Bosch. I got mine from a
friend
who worked at Bosch here in the U.S. I think I've seen it offered
elsewhere.
Google should turn it up, otherwise let me know and I can get the phone
numbers of the publishers out of the book.

Tim,
What Bosch book are you gleaning for such useful information? Steve
Smith
FWIW The Bosch book shows alternator speeds above 10,000 RPM.
Output
however flattens out around 5000. Above about 5-6000 RPM the power
losses,
mainly due to the fan, increase quite a bit.
