Hi,
Okay, so I broke down and bought a Moss quick-ratio steering rack. It uses
a solid-mount kit, p.n. 667-288. I'm not sure if this mount kit is special
for the quick-rack or if it fits the stock setup - I haven't had time to
measure anything. I can figure that part out whenever.
What has me perplexed is that the kit (667-288) comes with a plastic
washer (nylon??) - just one. All the other parts make sense, but I have no
clue what the washer is for.
Can anyone tell me what the plastic washer is for?
Perhaps it's a "parts room erratic". Whoops, that was Geology.
