[FOT] Spitfire race cars for sale?

This last weekend at Gingerman, a friend expressed an interest in buying a 
Spitfire race car.  We'll check all the usual places, but that means buying a 
car without any leads as to whether it's any good.  I'm interested in any 
direct info any of you may have as to cars that you know anything at all about. 
 I believe he'd also take a Spridget, given the large pile of little Healey 
bits they've accumulated over the years.
