For those of you that are running this - what did you do at the
caliper end?
The factory calipers have a short hard line that connects to a bracket
on one of the mounting bolts - that's awfully fiddly, and I have no
reason to reproduce it, since I'm making my own teflon/ss lines.
The Toyota caliper appears to have a 10mmx1.0 inverted flare (bottom
sealing, the caliper side is convex). Earl's makes a -3 hose
end for this, 90 degrees, even, but no one seems to stock it. There
are lots of adapters from this to -3, plus a 90 degree -3, and
that would be good.
The caliper came with two copper washers, as if they expected the
connection to be a banjo bolt - but the caliper isn't spot faced
at the hole. I'm as adventurous as the next guy, but not around brakes...
Does anyone run with a banjo here?
