Henry, I'm using Herman's bearing in my (street) 250, it allows for very
quick shifts as the travel of the pedal is very short from driving to full
release. He also has the adjustment down to a science (I hope!) Only have a
few miles on it though so I don't know about reliability. Probably will
bring it up to the Glen next month for the acid test. You can give it a try
there if you are coming up.
