I decided not to whine about my incompetence in assembling a gearbox for a
customer. I spent a day or so pulling it out, putting the washers in the
right order and getting it back together so it doesn't jump out of third
gear or chew up the synchro. A day or two working for free might get me
to pay closer attention in the future.
I'm hoping to pay attention this weekend, there's an SCCA double national
out at LarryLand, er, Miller Motorsports Park, this weekend. I'll just be
a spec tater, but it will be nice to see some road racing on a real track here
in Utah once again.
