Brake Master Cylinder Question

Happy New Year All,
 
My question goes out to the Spit/GT6 owners ... I'm swapping out my single  
circuit brake master cylinder for the later dual circuit factory tandem master  
cylinder.  The question is this: the push rod -  is it the same for  both the 
single and tandem cylinder ?  I've had the tandem unit (rebuilt)  for quite 
awhile but it is missing the push rod and clip.
