If your limited slip will truly lock the rear, adding a rear sway bar will
help the rotation quite a bit. My car (formerly R. John Lye's) was an
autocross car when I bought it and had a substantial front and rear sway
bar. At lower speeds it would rotate very nicely. At high speed (80+), it
had too much oversteer so I removed the rear bar. It was quite
entertaining, but slower at high speed with the rear bar. But, for a
slalom type of deal it would work much better. I believe that my rear
springs are stiffer than stock too. The rear bar won't work well with a
quaiffe limited slip, but should work with a salisbury or detroit locker
(what I've got).
What's not intuitively obvious with the solid axle TR's is that a stiffer
front bar actually helps the car rotate. I can't explain why, but
experience has shown this to be true. So, a stiffer front sway bar may be
all that you need.
