I had almost the opposite set up on my Spitfire. The radiator was very low. I put a high pressure cap on the radiator and sealed the pressure relief. I used an in-line cap in the hose from the t-stat hsg to the top of the radiator, with a lower pressure cap. Maybe being in the hose and after the t-stat restriction was enough to lower the pressure. I was thinking about a similar set-up when I find a new radiator. Joe(B) |
