If you are going to autocross it, make sure you build it to the class
rules. A small (seemingly insignificant) modification may put you into
a class where you will never be competitive.

I was under the impression that the stock wiring had to stay.
Will now start pulling it out and just run a simple wiring system
just the basics.
Mark mentioned brake lights are they required?
The car is a 75 spitfire, I plan to autocross it and if lucky run at
Elkhart and Brainard and maybe Blackhawk..
It was run as a autocross in the Detroit region and the owner started
to prepare it for racing I have no idea what it is like have only
driven it off the trailer so far and did a little cosmetic work and
some hydraulic. The motor sounds good for not having been run for 10
years. Is suppose to be putting out around 90 hp.
Will try to pick up good wiring, switches and gauges at IOLA next
weekend.
