I don't know where you heard that. The real issue was FIA not giving
the Indy folks the OK to add a Chicane to slow speeds through turn 13.
Michelin has known about the track for several years and if they can't
deliver a tire that is up to the standards of the circuit, the
Bridgestone teams should not be penalized for it.
Still, it is a sad say for F1
