Oh, and one more thing--I mis-spoke about a infinite length rod--the rod
angle doesn't change quickly, in fact it never changes. If you're going to
actually play with the math, start by looking at an infinite length rod
where the rod angle never changes--it's always zero and the other impossible
extreme (rod length of zero--maybe not impossible, but hard) the rod angle
at 90 degrees is at the maximum for that stroke.
