The Mercedes Benz 190 DTM cars had two types of pistons and rods.
For curved tracks they used the longer pistons with short rod to give the
engine good torgue and power at lower reves.
On full out tracks they used the shorter pistons and the longer rods and gave
the engine more higher reves.
