Bill Warner, Lanky, et al had the ex-Group 44 Classic Motorsports Cover Girl
TR6 at the Jefferson 500 at Summit Point last weekend. Looked very racy and
got a first in class and second or third overall (it's hard to keep track of
position with the mandatory pit stop and the results aren't on the website
yet) in the one hour enduro. Made Craig go all misty-eyed watching it.
Kent Bain in the #69 Spitfire was all over him a couple of times in the
Carousel but I don't think he got around the TR6. Kent also got a first in
class in the enduro.
The Australian/United States Healey Challenge was also there, with a special
area in the paddock and steet Healeys parked with them. Yes, they drove the
track clockwise despite being from the Southern Hemisphere.
Perfect Weather, old and new friends, and lots of spectators made for a
great time.
