Last in the pack,,,,, should be last to respond I guess????
Nothing but good to say.
Thanks to everyone who helped put this thing together... Richard, Joe, and
all the others.
The track was really fun.
The southern hospitality was great.
The camaraderie was wonderfull.
A couple of people had a lot of problems, solved them, kept racing, and
smiled the whole time, how much better can it get than that.
The racing was a lot of fun, especially saturday in the rain. I'll never
skip a rain race again!!!!!
If I ever make it back to Atlanta again, remind me to come with enough tires to
last the weekend without worrying about them, and to put rear suspension under
the car without the broked bitts I was worrying about.... (Bill, you will have
to remember that when the water gets to be 6" or so deep, peyote will have to
go around it, not through it:>)
A great group of drivers, every courtesy that I can think of was excercised
between all drivers and a lot of good fun. Much good information and help was
exhcanged all weekend, and with the likes of Kas there, we all had a lot to try
to live up to. Thanks Kas, for being patient with me and autographing
everything I brought along. A visit from the Huffaker team was a true pleasure
for me also. (this visit may have even sourced a new body for a truly
wonderfull mini racer & great person)
The only downside I can think of, is "Susan and Brad", we really missed
you....
A special thankyou to all who helped get the tent up and running, and all the
help tearing it down. I hope everyone has as much fun being in and using the
tent, as I do. I guess I like the social and building aspects as much as the
racing. I hope it add some for all of you.
Thanks again to everyone for a great weekend.
I have a few pics I will put on disc and send to anyone who wants it, and
would like to get copies of whatever you have also. Especially, Earnie, the
one you showed me from the rain session, and Tony the one of the gentlemen from
Huffaker.
See you all at the next race.
Tom
