I used to race my 3 on 165SR15's which you could buy a full set for the price
of one Hoosier. Sometimes I ran on the stock steel wheels but it was always
hard to find straight ones so I preferred my 60 spoke wires. I never worried
about the speed rating as I never really went that fast and everyone else was
limited to the same sort of wheel/tire combo. It kept the racing cheap and
competitive. Henry Morrison

Yokohama AVS or their current equivlent are very good. I use 205x65
from Tire Rack. They fit the 5.5 inch rim ok -- 215s are a stretch [but
I do have them on the rear]. Used these many times on the track before
getting
16 inch rims and shaved Kuhmos Victor racers.
