British Frame and Engine (Ken Gillanders) has a nice narrow belt conversion
that works very well. Has an aluminum reverse tophat pulley that doesn't
toast your bearings or require relocation of the belt, and includes a
harmonic damper. It's not Gilmer, but it works very well.
I like the oil cooler adapter that Greg Solow has--I presume he sells them,
the oil flow is proper and the ports wind up out of the way. It makes for a
neat installation with a 90 and 120 degree AN6 fitting.

Subject: Gilmer Belts/Pulley; Oil Cooler
Hello All:
I will begin the upgrading of my recently purchased TR4 for vintage racing
shortly. Two questions for you'all:
1. In Kastner's Triumph Preparation Manual, he describes a Gilmer
betl/pulley modification for the water pump. Anyone know where to get the
belt and pulleys? What sizes?
2. I will be adding an oil cooler, anyone know where I can buy the two port
adapter that replaces the oil filter head that is attached to the block? I
will use a remote oil filter assembly but need to run the oil lines from the
block to/from the oil cooler and remote filter.
Thanks
