I have been using Hardy-Spicer SP5-4X u-joints in my TR6 and TR4 for several
years. They are available locally from just about anyone who carries
Hardy-Spicer. I think their original application is for some model of Chevy,
but they fit perfectly in the yokes of the TR's. My last 2 sets (6 each in the
TR6, 2 each in the TR4) were installed practically while I waited from the
inventory of a local drive shaft shop. It has been a while since I have been
under either car, so I can't visualize the grease fitting right now, but my
feeble mind seems to think that it fits with no issues. I learned of these
u-joints from someone who used to be in my club, and who had equipped his TR6
with a 350 Chevy. The stock u-joints failed regularly, but when he switched to
the Hardy-Spicers, he never had any more problems (with the u-joints ;-) ).
