How about move back and forth? East one year, Central, then west. A chance
for all to participate.
On a practical basis, would it not make more sense to just agree upon a
set of races across the country at which FOT would try to gather in the next
year. Using racing resources (time & money) to transport racecars cross country
does not make sense unless it is a very special event. And frankly, even
special events are marginal calls because of the typically limited track time.
There is already an annual event in the west at Buttonwillow sponsored by
Moss for British vintage cars. Lets just pick some in other parts of the
country that make sense. If someone wants to make a special event for British
cars, they deserve our support. If they just want to fill the feild while
promoting other marques, why should we support it??
