FoT,
The following is an e-mail from HSR (edited). There's some items to be
clarified and agreed upon, but there is an agreement in principle. April is not
that
far away, so it is important to proceed with some announcements so folks can
circle this date on their calendars.
This will also be Kastner Cup event and this has been discussed, briefly,
with Kas.
We are looking forward to everyone's support of this event.
Regards,
Joe (A)

Dear Joe:
.......I want to confirm to you on behalf of HSR that we are delighted to
host the MG/Triumph Challenge at the 2005 Walter Mitty. The HSR Staff will do
its
best, including moving some of the later model cars to other groups or events
to make room for an all MG/Triumph race group. As Tim has indicated to you,
we at HSR have a genuine interest in working with you and Classic Motorsports,
our fine sponsor, to make sure that the 2005 Mitty will have a very definite
"vintage" flair and flavor and the best vintage racing event in the country.
..............The 2005 edition of the Mitty promises to offer even greater
variety and is engendering true excitement given the many sponsors, vendors and
car clubs that will be involved in the infield Mitty Autofest activities as
well as the great vintage racing. Road Atlanta is a wonderful and challenging
circuit that really should be on everyone's schedule. We are most pleased to
have the MG/Triumph group with us next year!
We look forward to a great MG/Triumph Challenge at the 2005 Walter Mitty!
Very best regards,
Howard Turner
