As I recall there's been some debate about this. When you're sticking an engine back in after a rebuild, do you pre-oil with a adaptor shaft down to the oil pump, or do you just try to get everything full of oil (filter, cooler, etc.) and turn the engine over with the plugs out until you see pressure. I've always done it the lazy way, with the starter motor. Any opinions? |
