Jesse Prather posted this on the production car website...no other
details. SCCA will more than likely have a press release in the next
couple days.
"SCCA lost a longtime member and friend this weekend. Dave Pistole
driving his newly acquired GT-2 Porsche wrecked very badly and passed
away due to the injuries he sustained. Dave raced a Spec Racer for many
years and made friends everywhere he went. My condolences go out to his
family and friends of which he had many. God bless Dave Pistole, you
will be missed."
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family
