Aye, Maties,
That sunshine today revived this old pirate a mite, from the dismal days
and weeks gone by. We'll all be feeling better in a week, having some grog
and maybe hearing a hornpipe or jig at that Beach Party at 739 Park Street
(540 East) on Saturday, Feb. 28th.
I expect there'll be some beauties there, perhaps shipwrecked on their
way 'round the horn. There'll likely be some grub for those bold enough
to try it. Maybe even the chanting of sea shanties. You'd better be
polishing the buckle on yer boot and and smoothing the splinters from
that pegleg to impress the beauties with yer dancing.
Arrg, it ain't easy being a pirate these days - not many sailing ships
to rob and goods we can nab are all electronic. Pirate radio, video pirates,
music, software, Wall Street - tain't got much use for those things, Just
give me a full mug and me buddies and I will have a time singing those
shanties and slinging some darts. You ought to come by after 7pm and maybe
bring something to gnaw on, and soft drinks for the wee ones.
Yer cap'n
