The following message was posted to the New England Triumphs mail list. I
thought I'd post it to FOT in case there's anyone out there with an
interest in saving a Mayflower from the crusher... some of you might
recognize the poster is Dick Langworth (but he's not the owner of the
car). Dick's Mayflower was owned by another person 'till recently, but I
think that one "bought the farm" as it was involved in a collision. I
never did hear the final disposition on that car (the one that was in the
Robson/Langworth book).
At any rate - this Mayflower is "free".
603 is New Hampshire. I have a trailer and I could store the thing briefly
if that factors in.

My friend David Gintzler called this morning offering a free Mayflower to
anyone who wants it. I thought you might be able to pass this along to
someone in New England Triumphs who might like to act--but they have to do
so quickly. They should call David at (603) 224-0651 (business hours).
The Mayflower has sat in one spot for maybe 20 years, is weathered from
sitting outside, but is probably no more rusty than it was when it
arrived,
since it hasn't been driven. It was when it was left in pretty good shape.
David left it for some work and forgot about it. The mechanic has now died
and his wife wants it gone. It will be towed to a junk yard unless someone
speaks up quickly. It might be worth rescuing.
