Responding to the overwhelming response to my query regarding my errant
electrical charging
system (i.e., none), I spent 15 miniatures and put on a new regulator and
everything works just like it oughta.
I think Jeff Snook's comments on axle hubs might apply to electrical
components as well. Sometimes it simply pays to replace recalcitrant parts
rather than having to personally prevail in every encounter. Then gracefully
let the Prince of Darkness have his due.

ps. In defense of the Prince, the first regulator lasted many, many years
including 16 races. The no-name repacement lasted 15 hours.
