Actually Mosport has been fantastic in terms of weather for the past 6 or so
years with one exception being two years ago when a cloudburst hit, then the
sun was back out to dry the track for the afternoon races. The insects are
not a problem there, unlike Shannonville where the mosquettos have been
known to breed unattended dogs while standing flat foot on the ground.
A flannel shirt after dark is all I ever have used, during the day it's
definately tee-shirt weather.

Sounds all too familiar. Think Alaska. You leave your base camp in with a
fly rod and vest shorts, a t-shirt, and four gallons of deep woods Off!,
and return in ten inches of show and a core temperature so low that your
vision has closed down to a circle the size of a mailing tube. And I still
go back every year.
Bottom line--in Northern Latitudes, carry warm clothes if your destination
is more than 300 yards away.

shelter and went fishing.
Thirty hours later it was snowing, with low unflyable overcast. We and

300 other fishing parties remained shivering in place for about two more
days than planned.
The 'great unwashed' really stunk up a hotel room the night we got out of
there
