I need a bit of advice. A friend's street TR3 has (his mechanic says) two hairline cracks in the block. He has been getting coolant in the oil pan. So, his mechanic pulled the head and replaced the head gasket and then pressurized the cooling system and said there are two cracks in the block. My question is: will a sealant like Barrs Leak or something like that seal a block for long term? Or, does anyone have a block for sale for a reasonable amount? Mike Rose |
