       Is my understanding correct that in 1972 (or earlier) that Triumph 
Spitfires were also using front spoilers? 

       Was this based on any research effort? Or was there any particualr 
reason why Triumph racers started using them?

       Also, was the Spitfire spoiler sold by the competition department or 
fabricated by individual competitors like yourself ?
