Today I decided to put the Quaife back in the Spit after determining that the Phantom Grip was a lot of hype and not much else. I decided to time myself and see how long it would take. it took right at 3 hours start to finish. I dropped the front mounts and allowed the carrier to be removed without disconnecting the housing. Maybe that saved time, maybe not. But it was easier to stab the carrier to the case than to try and fit the ears into the channels on the rear frame. Has anybody tried this routine? Cheers, Joe (C) |
