I agree with you Jon, my Q****** rear end slips on a regular basis
coming out of corners and my motor is relatively stock per my race class
rules. I'll be contacting you as soon as I can get the money together.

Subject: Clutch limited slip diffs
Amici-
Classic Racecraft has had sole manufacturing & distribution rights to
the
TR3-6 plate type differential since 1996, under licence from GKN.
Units are available configured for live or IRS, and use a steel billet
housing in place of the original cast item. All spares are available. No
shim
pack alteration is normally required to fit.
We have sold and serviced a considerable number of these diffs and
have yet
to experience a failure.
Price is #695 sterling ex-UK.
This is not meant as blatant advertising; rather as a rebuff to
would-be
counterfeiters.
Be very careful how you use the name of that Wiltshire town, by the
way...
I ran the 1-hour enduro solo at Mid-Ohio using a 4.1:1 CWP, plate LSD
and
finned diff. cover on the TR-6 with no heat problems. It's not
particularly
difficult to rig up a cooler system if required.
I agree with pretty well most of this thread. The plate type axle is the
most
drivable in all circumstances.
Watch a powerful Q***** equipped TR-8 in the wet if you really want a
laugh -
step forward Graham M.
That reminds me - we also supply plate diffs for the TR-7 5-spd and
TR-8.
Hope this is of interest-
