Patrick is a great guy, he helped me get Peyote fixed in time for the
Monterey Historics two years ago. Stayed until the wee hours getting a
busted stud (yes, one of the long ones that broke right at the bottom) out
and the engine back together. If I'd know he wanted to join I would have
nominated him, and I'll surely second.

Friends:
Patrick has sent this letter of introduction to me. Even though I don't
know
the gentleman ...he seems to have the enthusiasm and dedication that
could potentially contribute to our fold. I like that.
I would like to nominate him to join our ranks.

Subject: Hello Friends of Triumph
I would like to join Friends of Triumph. I hope I would have something
too contribute to your Technical forum. I have ASE certification, English
City and Guilds certification, and Ireland's department of education
Certification for Automotive Technology.
I have worked for Greg Solow @ The Engine Room in Santa Cruz
California for the last 13 or so years primarily working on Triumph, and
Morgans powered by Triumph engines. I have built race engines for other
FOT members Dough Sallen (Saratoga CA)and work on an other FOT member 's
Lotus7 and Triumph TR3, Stewart Smith (Santa Cruz CA). I know many other
FOT members as I attend many VERA, HMSA,SCCA events @ Sears Point, Button
Willow, Laguna Seca, Thunder Hill, and the Steve Earl event @ Coranado,
San Diego.
I own a '62 Triumph Hearld convt. that I built a hot rod engine for,
in fact you made the copper head gasket for it.
I have read your technical form postings and like that you screen your
membership to keep out people that dont have adaquate technical knowledge.
Thank you
Yours
