Mid 80's, still living in Belgium, a friend buys a rusted Dino 246.
First he rebuilds the engine, and when that is done he build a glass cubic
box, put the engine in it, and uses it as a coffee table in his office,
later it moves to the study/hobby room.
The rebuild of the (very rusty) body takes a few years, until the collector
market goes crazy in the late 80's.
At the same time his wifes finds out about his wild other life and divorces
him.
He ends up with the cars, she with the furniture and the art collection.
The engine went with the art collection, seems like her ultimate revenge
since she knew very well the rising value of the car.

A lesson to learn ?

> If you cant sell it, you can always make auto-art out of it. I just
attached

race

 > on a 1/3 price sale. For about $20, I now have a unique end table.
 > I'd sell it $100 :-) No I wouldnt...just kidding.
