Rich, et al,
It was the success of Mid-Ohio's Triumph event that has been the ingniting
force behind the Mosport 2003 "International Triumph Challenge". The event
has now been made into a 4 day event by the addition of another practice
day. We are inviting cars that would not have qualified for the Ohio event,
in particular those prepped to a defined SCCA level. There are some
qualifications and I can review those at a point in the future. We are also
bringing in as many historied cars as we can find.
To keep up to date, check the website at www.fot-racing.com from time to
time. Henry Frye, our TR-4 racing web meister is having his own axle
replaced this week and so will be having some time on his hands while he
recuperates.

Subject: Vintage Motorsport Magazine and Mid Ohio
I just got my Vintage Motorsport Magazine in the mail yesterday and there is
a good article on Mid Ohio and the 50th Triumph Reunion. There are some
pictures of several Triumphs including a group of TR3's coming through the
"Key Hole" (I think it is the Key Hole?). I finally made the "big time" with
a photo of my powder blue TR3 in a "big time" magazine! Now I can prove to
my friends and family that I really do "race" (or at least try).
There are quotes from Joe Alexander and even the FOT is mentioned. Boy was
that fun........I can't wait for June and Mosport!!
