I know this was accidentally sent, and no offense taken, but it does bring
up some
interesting comparisons on not only geographical distribution, but also
other differences as well.
If we look at the results of the top seven TR3's and 4's in the all-Triumph
race, here's what we see:
4 - Mike Jackson -- 1:48.486 - Florida - SU
8 - Mordy Dunst - 1:50.146 - California - Weber
9 - Jeff Snook - 1:50.059 - Ohio - SU
10 - Mark Butterworth - 1:51.631 - Great Britain - Weber
11 - Tony Drews - 1:51.841 - Illinois - SU
15 - Paul Smock - 1:52.601 - California - Weber
16 - John Frymark - 1:53.231 - California - Weber (I think)
Really pretty well distributed, geographically, wouldn't you say? Also of
interest is that the difference
between SU and Weber carbureted cars was not measurably different, TR3's
vs. TR4's were not significantly different. Darn. This destroys all my
previously held opinions.
Now I've just got to find a couple more seconds........
