A lot more expensive. I have two big tanks of Nitrogen to operate the air
jacks on my Radical, as well as substitute for a compressor. They cost $30
to fill, and last a season usually. Conversely the Argon for my MIG costs
$80 for a dinky tank.

I would argue that argon would be better than nitrogen because with its
higher density, there would be less variation in pressure with
temperature. Its also more expensive though.
